Diablo 4 has been known about for a while (you. Being able to learn just a little bit more about the game and how certain things would play out is what makes it so special compared to other FPS games, and after playing both betas extensively, it feels like it's lost some of the charm it once had. Reportedly, it was done in order to refocus resources on two sure-thing sequels, Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2.

I'd love to hear your feedback overwatch is my favorite game of all time, (I'm sure many others can relate) but the complexity of the game is what always brought me back to it. Paladins does something similar to this with the card system, and it's one of the reasons I still enjoy playing paladins, because the complexity of what each card set gives allows for a diversity of things to be strong against each other. Ideally you'd be able to see a small list of the talents each person, both friendly and enemy, has next to their hero, possibly icons to represent them this would allow you to outsmart your opponent by picking a hero that you have a certain set of talents to deal with the enemy, which forces the enemy to consider whether to try and swap to match or stick, believing they can still win the skill match up. Adding those to the current 5v5 system would bring back the ingenuity of overwatch by allowing players to figure out what character would be best suited to a certain situation, rather than picking a character simply because it's good everywhere all of the time. This is where talents comes in while we were talking about what could be done to add that complexity back into the game and reinvigorate the other half of the skills needed to play overwatch (knowledge and mechanics), I thought of the PVE talents the team had mentioned. Now, with optimal metas being figured out and being forced onto most maps, there's less of an opportunity to outsmart your opponent, only to outskill them. Missing out on these kind of outplays makes the game feel more like Valorant than what its always been a game where you can swap heros at the drop of a hat to counterpick your opponent and be able to win through the strategies devised. While this is nice to an extent, putting every member of the team on an even playing field results in less outplays of knowledge and more of raw mechanical skill.

So far, only Xbox has publicly addressed its shifting relationship with Activision, albeit obliquely, with Xbox head Phil Spencer recently telling the New York Times it had "changed how we do certain things with them, and they're aware of that. This is gonna be a long post so bare with meĪ friend and I were talking about the complexity of overwatch and we both felt that overwatch 2 had simplified roles from overwatch 1 the obvious point being one tank less, but also the idea that any role can get frags and make plays. The move is perhaps the most decisive public action we've yet seen from a major company since allegations of Activision Blizzard's toxic work culture first surfaced last year. Lego says the Overwatch 2 Titan set's release will remain paused indefinitely until it has completed its review. It's in this climate that Lego has now (thanks, TheBrickFan) opted to suspend the release of its Overwatch 2 Titan set, saying it's currently in the process of reviewing its partnership with Activision Blizzard "given concerns about the progress being made to address continuing allegations regarding workplace culture, especially the treatment of female colleagues and creating a diverse and inclusive environment". Since then, Activision Blizzard has remained mired in controversy, dogged by ongoing strike action and calls for unionisation - which the company tried to stem in an email send to all employees at the end of last year. Lego's Overwatch 2 Titan set was originally due to launch early next month. The controversy surrounding Activision Blizzard has only deepened since then November saw the release of a damning Wall Street Journal report detailing further alleged sexual harassment, assault, and inappropriate behaviour at the company - with the publication levying particular criticism at CEO Bobby Kotick, claiming he'd been aware of the allegations of sexual misconduct and mistreatment of female employees across the company "for years".ĭespite swift industry condemnation - Xbox, Nintendo, and PlayStation all made statements condemning Activision Blizzard - and a petition signed by more than 1,800 company employees demanding Kotick step down, Activision's board of directors all rallied around the CEO, saying it "remains confident" in Kotick's "leadership, commitment and ability". Lego has announced it is indefinitely suspending the release of its Overwatch 2 Titan set, initially scheduled to launch on 1st February, in light of ongoing concerns related to Activision Blizzard's workplace culture - which was described as a "breeding ground for harassment and discrimination against women" in a California State lawsuit launched last July.
